Excited to announce an exciting collaboration between ReWire Group LLC and UAlbany's Atmospheric Sciences & Research Center (ASRC) and its Center of Excellence in Weather & Climate Analytics!

ReWire is proud to serve as the commercialization arm for innovative energy technologies developed by the Center and ASRC. Our latest collaboration has resulted in work on the Energy Demand Optimizer (EDO) - a cutting-edge tool that is being designed to help utilities forecast future energy demand with unprecedented accuracy.

EDO will give utility companies critical foresight into how severe weather events like heat waves will impact municipal energy needs in dense urban areas. By providing advanced warnings days ahead of weather-related demand spikes, EDO enables more proactive outage management and
resource allocation.

This technology collaboration exemplifies how academic research can be utilized and turned into practical solutions through strategic partnerships. As climate challenges intensify, ReWire is committed to bringing these essential weather and climate analytics directly to utility operations through its comprehensive energy management platform.
